According to the results of the tournament, a rating of chess players who represent law universities, law schools and legal departments of enterprises will be formed. This rating will be based on the Russian Rating (FSHR).

Sights of Ekaterinburg

Yekaterinburg dam

It is also called "plotinka" by the common people - this is what the history of the city began with, its heart. The unique hydraulic engineering structure is considered one of the oldest in all of Russia. At the beginning of the XVIII century, Emperor Peter I, actively developing the territory of the Urals, ordered the construction of an ironworks on the Iset River. In order to generate energy to activate the mechanisms, the head of the mining plants, Vasily Nikitich Tatishchev, decided to build a dam bridge. Due to the lack of approval from the authorities, the construction had to be postponed. The process was resumed two years later with the arrival of military engineer Georg Wilhelm De Gennin in the Urals.

Museum of the History of Yekaterinburg

МThe History Museum covers a period of several thousand years and tells visitors about the history of Yekaterinburg and the region, starting with ancient tribes and ending with modern times. At the exhibition you will learn about the Finno-Ugric tribes who inhabited these lands long before the arrival of Wilhelm de Gennin and Tatishchev, get acquainted with the industrial past of the city, learn about its role in the 1917 revolution and get acquainted with the life of ordinary Soviet people in the XX century.

Choi's Transition

A place of attraction for musicians and young people. For the fiftieth anniversary of the musician, Viktor Tsoi, fans made a wall in memory of him. Rock is one of the symbols of the Urals. Groups appeared here: Agatha Christie, Semantic Hallucinations, Nautilus Pompilius, Chicherina and others. In 2023, an updated underpass was opened as part of the Stenograffia Street Art festival. Representatives of the Sverdlovsk rock club were painted next to Tsoi. The artists depicted scenes from the life of musicians and quotes from the famous songs "Chaifa", Chicherina, Butusov and "Agatha Christie".

Sevastyanov's House

Sevastyanov's first house was built before 1817. It was distinguished by a unique detail for the city: a semicircular arched rotunda at the corner. In the second half of the 19th century, the house passed to the official Nikolai Ivanovich Sevastyanov, he decided to reconstruct the stone house and add Baroque and Neo-Gothic elements to it. After that, he sold it to the state, which placed the district court in the building. After the revolution, the building first housed the Ural Commissariat of Labor, and after that, for many decades, the mansion was occupied by the regional council of trade unions. The sign on the rotunda was changed to the "House of Trade Unions". In 2008, it was decided to reconstruct the building for the residence of the President of Russia.

Yekaterinburg State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre

One of the four federal musical theaters in Russia. Russian and world premieres of operas and ballets take place here every season. The theater's performances annually participate in the National Theater Festival "Golden Mask" and receive awards of the same name. The geography of the troupe's tours is 30 countries around the world, from France to Australia.
In 2018, the theater acquired a new name Ural Opera Ballet

Vysotsky Skyscraper

This is the first skyscraper built in the city of Yekaterinburg. Currently, along with the Iset Tower, also located in Yekaterinburg, they are the tallest in Russia outside Moscow and St. Petersburg. The list of functional units: offices, conference rooms, banquet hall, spa, cafes/restaurants, hotel, V.S. Vysotsky Museum and more. The outdoor observation deck is located on the 52nd floor of the Vysotsky skyscraper, at an altitude of 186 meters. From the observation deck of the Vysotsky skyscraper, you can see the entire panorama of the city, including: the Ural Mountains, the Iset River, and three ponds on it, the pipes of the Beloyarsk nuclear power plant. It is the world's only industrial nuclear power plant with fast neutron rectors, a Temple on Blood, the headquarters of a Russian copper company, and the Iset Tower skyscraper.

1905 Square

The square received its name in 1919, and the reason for this was the speeches of revolutionary-minded students and high school students on October 19, 1905. Then the protest ended unsuccessfully and turned into a massacre, and 24 people were in the dock, but in October 1917, the Bolsheviks announced the victory of the October Revolution here. The main architectural dominant of the square in 1905 is the Yekaterinburg Administration Building, built on the site of the former Gostiny Dvor.

The Hermitage of the Urals

During the Great Patriotic War, this museum building became the main storage place for the collections of the State Hermitage Museum, which determined the concept of reconstruction of the facility. On the ground floor there is a hall for temporary exhibitions from the State Hermitage Museum, on the second floor there is a permanent exhibition of objects of Western European art, and on the third floor there is a memorial exhibition "In the deep rear".
